Yes I suffered from that disorder since childhood but I slowly learnt to deal with it. Im not completely cured, but I've given up on a lot of the rituals which were making life unbearably complicated. I still need to have things in perfect order at times, but when I catch myself slipping back into the rituals I pull myself up and try to convince myself that nothing bad ever does happen when I dont perform them.Meditation and psychotherapy has helped me a lot in that area.

Yes. Although "overcome" is the wrong word to use. They learned to Manage their disorder effectively. Usually this happens with a combination of prescription and behavioral therapy.
