The amount of days left of her insurance coverage is not the issue. If she believes she needs a longer stay, she should talk with her physician so that he/she may call the insurance carrier to authorize an extension in stay.

That doesn't make sense they shouldn't be sending her home early if she's still having problems, 30 days is still a long time from now. I would lodge a complaint.
