working in a multidiscipilan. team, how have you developed camaraderie and earned respect?
Question:
Answers:
It is more difficult in a multi-disciplinary team to develop rapport and camaraderie, basically because everyone has such different roles that there is little common ground. However, herein lies the answer. Try to find common ground among the team members. Do some team building activities that are based upon this sole purpose. Take the team off-site to do some adventure learning or ropes courses. I have done some adventure learning in a team where we had little in common and the end result was a higher level of trust and greater rapport.
Other Answers:
By trying to treat everybody equally and sharing the workload and perks by using rotas if need be for both. The perks involved more interaction in the workplace and when they worked they worked a lot harder.
