My sister is 5 months pregnant, she just called and said she is having horrible pains on one side of her back?

I instantly thoght kidneys but she says shes being urinating normally. This pain is so bad she coulnt sleep last night and it's making her sick to her stomach. She's been trying to contact her Dr. but the line is busy I thougth I would search for some answers while she's doing that. Any ideas?

if the pain has been so insistant why havnt you guys gone to the hospital? Get to it.

She needs to go to the ER.

If it continues before you get ahold of her doctor, you may consider taking her to the hospital.

If the doctor doesn't call soon, go to the hospital. Even if it's nothing, don't take chances.

It could still be kidney stones, or her appendix, or gallbladder stones. She needs to see the Doctor.

Take her to the nearest hostipal emergency. I hope she has insurance.
