The best way to cure any addiction is effective diversionary activity coupled with positive attitude and a healthy sense of self-importance, even arrogance. Try this----when the urge comes on, start an activity that you have always admired but never took on---maybe writing, riding a bike, vigorous exercise. It will divert your mind and faculties and channel them into something positive. Do it in short bursts though so you do not get bored or depressed.
