how soon can I recolor my hair?

Highlighted my hair WAY too light. How long do I have to wait before it's safe to color it back?

i had a similar problem a couple weeks ago. i dye my hair blond and decided i wanted a lighter blond and i picked the wrong color, it was way too light. it was a nightmare. my hair was so light i looked bald lol. there was no way i could live with that for a minute. i put on a hat, went to the store and got a dark blond and hoped for the best. it came out perfect. so i dont think theres a time limit on how long to wait but if you do it too often it will dry it out, and damage it. you should be ok tho. just dont do a dramatic color change, ease into it. good luck

you should wait 4-6 weeks if you are using a permanent. make sure you do a strand test if you are doing it yourself. best bet is to consult a professional at your local salon which is probably free
