No. Syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease. It will be transmitted if you had sex with infected person.
Syphilis is caused by the virus Treponema pallidum. U can catch it in a similar way to HIV, except contact with the sores caused by syphilis on the genitals can also pass on the disease. Drinking out of the same glass is not going to give you syphilis as there is no (or so little it isn't gonna do anything) virus in saliva.
The only things you really shouldn't be doing with a person with syphilis are sex and sharing needles/blood products. But syphilis is highly treatable with penicillin, so it's an easy disease to treat.
