I am about to finish graduate school and want to invest in some professional clothes. What should I buy?
Question:
What are good, professional (but not too formal) clothes for 20-somethings just starting their careers? And where are good stores to buy it?
Answers:
Get a few nice pantsuits. You'll use them alot. Get collared shirts that you like and that fit well (oxfords and polos, depending on your job), and comfortable, modest shoes. Also, get some cute (but still relatively formal) shirts and jeans for dressed-down functions. Your employer will appreciate if everything is relatively modest, so that your appearance is professional, not provocative.
Good luck!
