a long time ago you use to be able to get free packages of simple diabetic items. can you still get themfree?
Question:
The items were small pack for travel stuff like that. and I am a diabetic and never get anything anymore. Are there places that still give them out?
Answers:
Talk to your doctor / doctor's office staff the next time you visit. or just call and ask them. Doctors' office stockpile samples and have plenty of them to give out, from medication to supplies. everything. It's usually there for the taking if you ask.
Also, consult with your local health department. Most health departments / public health service providers have a diabetes program in place, dedicated solely to providing services to the diabetics in the community. Chances are that they may have some freebies as well. Give them a call.. I am sure they would love to hear from you..
Good luck and best wishes.
