prehistoric humans didn't do too bad, themselves. kitchens and running water haven't always been around.it's something we've slowly grown away from.
Other Answers:
no
They've evolved in an environment where they eat food raw etc; It's all about how different species evolve and the environment they live in. They get immune over time to bugs in food etc.
Have I ever seen a lion wash its face? No
Animals get ill. We just don't notice it because they don't usually take themselves to the vet. There are doctors who tend to the animals in the zoos, and veterinarians. But there are alot more animals that get sick and/or die out in the wild because there's no one to take care of them.
Animals get sick too. There's even an animal version of HIV. And I'm really shocked that you haven't heard of Avian Flu, (Bird flu, Pandemic Flu are other terms for it.)
Animals do fall sick from this. Put quite simply, they let those who get sick die. Humans, as a species invest a large amount in our offspring and care for them for an extended period of time. We have relatively few babies but expect all of them to survive. Animals have large numbers of babies and most die.
This is a bug difference between humans and animals. Human life is precious. Animal life is not.
