why do i have mucus caked in the back of my throat?,thick,8. months..?

Possibly allergies, or you could be dehydrated. Try drinking more water. And cut out coffee and soda and pretty much any other beverage. Just drink water, it's really the only drink your body really needs.

If that fails, see a doctor.
