What foods can I eat/drink to reduce puffiness and bloating in my fingers, toes, and face?

haha i'm taking pathophysiology this semester.
what you are getting is called oedema. it is when excess fluid in the tissue of your distal periphery. it can be caused by a few things.
there are things called electrolyte, which include sodium, potassium, chloride, etc, which you take into your body when you eat. these are essential for normal electrical responses in the body. anyhow. these need water to travel around, and need water to be expelled from the body. these slow your kidney down and stop a hormone called renin from being excreted from the kidneys. renin is a osmotic drug; it helps the veins suck moisture out of the cellular tissue back into the vascular system, eventually to be excreted via urine. anyhow. there's your path lecture for the day.
increase your fluid intake. decrease salts/electrolytes. and also move! get someone to check your blood pressure. oedema is indicated by your diastolic pressure. if this is particularly low you might have a vascular disease, which you'll need medical attention for.
also if you have "puffiness" your reaction might be immunological. as in your body is fighting something. especially if it is near the skin. get your Immunoglobulin E's checked out.
