When I was in Australia my feet hurt and my shoes were tight. When I put the shoes on at home they fit. Why?
Question:
Before going on a trip to Australia I purchased a pair of casual shoes that fit in the store. I wore the shoes on the flight and the shoes were really tight the whole week with blisters and all. I thought the shoes were bad I stopped wearing them. Just before throwing them out, I tried them on and they were quite comfortable. Did my feet swell up?
Answers:
We're you walking a lot during your trip? If so, the walking alone explains your foot swelling. New shoes sometimes aren't as flexible as ones that have been broken in, and if you were wearing these shoes with swelled feet they were likely to cause blistering.
Other Answers:
It is very likely that your feet swelled on the plane. This happens all the time and on one flight it might happen to you and on another it wont.
