My mom got a flyer from Mutual of Omaho, offering her life ins. coverage. She's 79 is this legit? Thanks

Hi everyone, I am new, so please bear with me. My Mom recently received a brocure in the mail from Mutual of Omaho offering her term life insurance for $98 a month for 10 yr term, $10,000 coverage. Is this legit as she is 79 years old?
Any help appreciated or if anyone knows where you can get it at that age, any help will be much appreciated!

If it was from Mutual of Omaha, with an A not an O, then it is probably legit. They have been around like forever. I had a life insurance policy with them years ago. As for the price, they may not know how old your gma actually is. Go to their website to find out.

Yes, it is legal the insurances have no problem selling life insurance to senior citizens . It is the health insurance that they don't realley want to sell to senior. Fot a life insurance nothing is going to be raised. If she takes it out for $5000 or what ever it will just be that no more no less
