How much does the YMCA charge for fitness membership?

I want to find out which gym would be best to join where they won't rip you off and they will give you a good monthly price. However, i was wondering how much does YMCA charge for individual membership ?? Anyone know ??

I joined them last year and it was about $35 a month plus a $55 sign up fee. I think it really depends on where you live, though.

Also, I priced out a gym and walked out without signing and they called the next day with a much better deal. you might want to try playing hard to get. I hate that whole game, it's like buying a car or something.
