Is anybody taking Topomax??

Question:

Is anybody here on Topomax for migraines? If so, is it working for you? Any side effects?
Answers:
Well not for migraines, but for seizures. I recently developed complex seizures (think passing out), I always had partial seizures ( left side of body twitched on occasion. Anyways.. lot of side effects
Started at 25 mg twice a day and within a week experienced neuropothy ( like numbness) on feet and right hand after slowly raising the dosage to 100 mg twice a day I developed a kidney stone, lots of fun, I' 34. Also had a bout with double vision for a while, but I'm taking alot of other meds for my condition so they combine. Also my thinking is slower, I have a degree in aerospace engineering and now find it difficult to do basic math in my head, but again I'm on other meds ( keppra, lamictal, and others)

So.. In summery it helped my seizures, but the side effects were too much so I'm currently getting off of it.
