Vitamin C - Extended Release?
Question:
Vitamin C Extended Release Tablets seem to function no differently from regular Vitamin C tablets.
Is the "Extended Release" a scam?
A Pharmacist did tell me that the "Extended Release" were of questionable additional benefit, but I am exploring it further.
I take Vitamin C primarily to minimize Colds and other respiratory problems.

Extended release doesn't necessarily release the same amount for an extended period of time. Everyone's metabolism's different, and coffee, other medications, and even other vitamins can increase or decrease the amount available in your blood stream.
