Is it wise for a person with really sensitive skin to get their ears pierced?

I am 24 and have really sensitive skin. I'm thinking about getiing my ears pierced for my Birthday but I'm not sure if its wise since my skin is so sensitive.

Is there anyone out there with really sensitive skin thats gotten piercings of any sort and if so what was the outcome?

yes jsut keep them clean and get sterling silver or gold earrings. make sure they dont ahve any nickle in them

Ask your doctor or a dermatoligist. If you donot have a dermatoligist, ask your doctor to recommended you to one. Heck, maybe they could pierce your ears for you. I knew people waited until, maybe, 15 or 16, but never 24. Interesting.
