It is possible, but not very likely. As a matter of fact, I believe your at the most infertile part of your cycle at that point. Better the week after your period.

It's very unlikely that you'd get pregnant when you're having your period. In each (about) 28 day cycle, your uterus prepares for pregnancy by building up the uterine lining - this is where the fertilized egg would implant if you were to get pregnant. The egg is released, and if it isn't fertilized, it is shed along with the built-up uterine lining during your period. After your period ends the whole cycle begins again. While you're having your period, your ovum is either in the process of getting shed or has already been excreted and therefore will not get fertilized; also, the uterine lining is being shed and it's very unlikely a fertilized egg would be able to implant into it.
That said, stranger things have happened. People have supposedly gotten pregnant even while correctly using the birth control pill. Although it's very unlikely you'd get pregnant from having sex during your period, bizarre things do happen and it's always safer to use protection.
It's absolutely possible, but not likely. A woman cycle of ovulation varies from month to month so on the odd chance that your cycle was short and that menustration long it would be possible, but not likely. I belive that baby's come on God's time. If you don't feel right about having sex there is nothing wrong with that. He should respect that.
