hairstylists, have you ever encountered this? i have only 2 times.today being one.?

Question:

you go thru the entire cut only to find out the persons hair gets longer when dried.
it usually shrinks as it dries.
she wanted short bangs with the cut and when they were dry they reached to the cupid's bow of her lip!(i cut them wet to the nose bridge)

mine will do that if i use a brush while blow drying. i don't have curl or wave but lots of body (texturizing).
if i pull on it while it's being dried mine seems to grow, but if i don't blow dry it's SHORT (and my husband will ask,'did you get your hair cut AGAIN'?)

wow, that is very strange, I have never had that happen to me, however, I usually dry-cut bangs, because of the length difference between wet and dry.

Well, I'm not a hairstylist, but I do cut my own hair and my husband's. I have never cut hair and had it longer after the cut. I always cut my husbands hair dry, as it is very curly and thick, and I'm afraid that it will shorten up too much as it dries. I never worried about it being longer.

wow i didnt kno someones hair actually gets longer when dry. my mom cuts my hair cuz shes a hairstlyist and my hair is wazy when wet so when its wet its longer totally oposite of what happened to u.
