Are laptop computers bad for your health?

I have heard that men should not set laptops computers on their lap because their sperm can be damaged. Is that true? Do laptops have a negitive effect on women as well?

The issue was the heat generated by the laptop causing a drop in sperm production. It is not a theory, but a fact. Of course, like so many things, two years from now they may come out with a study that says it isn't as bad as they once thought.
