i agree with the nurses reply, however, if you have hcv are you a canadite for treatment? if so and you have not tried it before, do it! its worth it! if you have previously tried treatment with the interferon only, you may try a second round with the ribavirin added. i know many who failed the first time, the second time with the ribavirin added, they have sustained viral response.
keep in mind not every symptom of hcv goes away after treatment, but it sure made the difference in me and my IBS.

Had kidney stones 3 times!

Do you have a knife in your abdomen? If so, remove it. The pain should go away soon.

also, stop eating dairy, it will help ease pain from kidney stones to stomach cramps, eat a lot of easy to digest foods, see baby food

Kidney stones, When i had pain it was causes from my gallbladder on rightside. Had gall stones, had to have my gallbladder removed. Ask you docter. Asap. you don't want a organ brusting.

Left side pain for MONTHS-not likely a kidney stone! Do they not think the hepatitis is behind it all?! If the pain has been intermittant---consider colon problem, ie irritable bowel syndrome, lactose intolerance, celiac sprue.
