What is the best exercise that I can do to work my lower abdominals. You know the "V" muscle.?

Please be descriptive on how to do the exercise since exercise names change. Include how many sets and reps. Also, does anyone know what the v muscle is actually called?

Since the guy above didn't elaborate, what he's describing is basically any exercise where your upper body is flat and doesn't move, and your legs come up. Typically you are suspended off of the ground, and lift your legs from extended downward to extended outward.
Just like normal weightlifting, more reps=definition and higher weight=size. In terms of abs, its better to do low weight and at least 15 reps X 3-4 sets of each exercise. Maybe 3-5 exercises per workout. You can workout your abs daily because they recover so quickly, but if you can get in an ab workout 3+ times a week that's pretty good and you'll notice it. I don't know what V-muscle you're referring to.
