What can you take or do naturally for rosacea? itching on my face and neck.?
Question:
Answers:
Roseaca is often times linked to an allergy, especially a food allergy. You can try to do an elimination diet to figure out if there is a food trigger. A common trigger is milk. Also you should stay out of the sun, it can aggravate it. Other triggers include, spicy foods, make-up or skin care items with alcohol as an ingredient and humidity. You should use only mild temp water on your face (not too hot and not too cold) You can try aloe vera to help with the driness and itching (but they may irritate the skin further, so try a little area first and if it causes further irritation, discontinue use). You can also use a natural anti-inflammatory since it is caused by the dialation of the blood vessels under the skin (try tumeric, bromelain, papain). See a dermatologist to be sure it isn't something more serious. (Lupus can cause a red butterfly rash across the face.)
