Anyone ever had a Branchial Cleft Cyst? What was your choice of treatment?

I have a small lump in/on my throat and my doctor says it's a Branchial Cleft Cyst. Anyone ever had this.what treatment is out there? I know he told me surgery to remove it.Anyone had surgery like this? How big is the incision? What does the scar look like?
Answers:
A family member just had it done. If your surgeon is good, they will make the incision on a neck crease so no scar can be seen. The incision size will be determined by the cyst size.
