dosages of penicillin?

hello, if someone is on penicillin and they take a pill and 2 hours later they drink wine, does the medication still have the same effect or is it just like missing a dose or does it just lessen the effect a little but still works?? i appreciate your answers..

no the dose is still the same,taking alcohol with antibiotics just makes the alcohol more potent it does nothing to the medication
