Can having low iron(anemaia) cause nausea and aches and pains all over your body?

I am anemic and have been for 3 weeks now. I lost a lot of blood before and during a surgery I had. I have looked up things online about anemia and talked to my doctor, just wondering if anyone knows for sure! THANKS.
