If a girl wear a size 11/12 or 13/14 is she fat??

Question:

Answers:
Nope. That used to be the good size. Anyone who thought Marilyn Monroe was hot. well, she was a size fourteen. It kinda depends on body build. If you're healthy and not overweight but just happen to be a healthy 11/12, 13/14 then that's good. People look fat when they wear sizes that are too small and don't work out (body is fat instead of muscle). If your healthy and wear trim fitting nice clothes that are your size, then you shouldn't think you are fat!

Other Answers:
oh yeah.

the average american woman wears a 12

depends on her height.. if she is average height 5'4-5'7 then yes it is fat.

How old is she?

Of course. should be an 8-10..

depends on how tall she is.

not unless she is short, in my opinion, plus it has to do with how muscular she is. This is very individual.

5'4" is the average height for an American female, anything above that is tall, taller, tallest.

My daughter, who is 16, is 5'10", a state-ranked swimmer, and weighs 150 pounds and wears 11/12s. She is in no way fat. She is also in no way skinny. She is very muscular and fit, trim with a small waist, broad shoulders, strong arms and legs. If she grows taller, I would expect her to gain weight and wear a bigger size even.

Don't let these answers make up your mind for you. If you are asking for yourself, you need to really look at yourself in the mirror. Don't just assume that you are fat b/c of your clothing size. Check it out for real, perhaps with your mom there for reality's sake. See if you have a lot of cellulite, a hanging belly, wobbly arms, two or three double chins, a butt that hangs to your backs of your knees. Those are all true signs of fat--much more so than some random clothing size that varies from manufacturer to manufacturer anyway.

I don't think so. Of course it also depends on height because someone that is that size who is 5'10'' is thin, whereas someone that size that is 4'0'' might not be. But it also depends on whether or not you are like others here who think you are only thin if you look like a living skeleton.

no dont worry about it. u will die of stress if u try to get thin

That all depends on her height. and bone structure.

Well,I'm about that size, but I also have had 3 kids. It's a little big for a small girl though. It also depends on height.

Well it also depends on her height. The average American woman wears a 12.I wouldn't consider it fat, but it is "thick". Or at least that is what everyone tells me (I am 5'7" and I wear a 12, I gave birth to twins 7 months ago and haven't successfully gotten my prepregnancy body back)

oh yeah of course she is unless she is really tall!!

It all depends on how she thinks of herself! Some women are bigger than others, NO BIG DEAL! Life happens.

No, not everyone needs to be the sickly bones sticking out skeletons that men think are trophies. Be happy, Be healthy!!

depends how TAll she is

not necessarily.

It depends on her height and all over body make-up. I wouldn't call that fat more like getting there.

No.

no i dont think so it depends on how old the person is and their height.and dont listen to those stupidass guys they dont know wat their talking about

fat or think if that you and ur not fat and your thick your new names is Fluffy

it depends on her height .but if she's short yes she should get on diet

Marilyn Monroe wore a size14.

Do YOU feel fat?If you feel great, you are fine!Look in the mirror, not in the fashion magazines for your answer.

The average size American women wear is 12. Whether or not she is fat depends on her height, bone structure and percentage of body fat vs. muscle. Size alone does not determine whether or not someone is considered fat. However, I believe "Womens" sizes start at 14, and this is generally thought of as larger than the social ideal.

There a reasons why some women wear 11/12 or 13/14
Either they are tall and have curvy bodies.

Im included with this girls Im 5'9 and have a curvy body.
Anyways thats what men like.

actually need to no her height, however if average height I'd say absolutely no no no.

personel years of knowledge and my wife.

of course not. your height makes a difference in weight, your body structure also makes a difference. I wear 11-12 and am very slim, I am 5'10"- also your age will make a difference. younger girls bodies continually changing as they get older, weight shifting. all meant to be that way in all of us. be patient, your body will get where its going in time.take care of yourself and be healthy.

fat is not about what size you wear but how you carry the weight. If your stomach is hanging out over your jeans you are fat but if you can wear a half shirt then you are not fat just thick.

There are more factors then dress size when it comes to being over weight.

For example height and measurements etc.
