How quick does lenses change when going from dark to clear and visa versa with transitions optical glasses?

Not quickly enough!
It takes a few minutes (not seconds, like in the commercial!) for the complete change to occur.
I even had to hold my glasses outside of my window to get them to change when I got in my car..there wasn't enough brightness to get them to change otherwise!
I couldn't stand mine, so I got rid of them!
