Why do my heels always hurt???

Question: My heels hurt to the touch and when I wake up in the morning I can hardly walk! I can't wear shoes with backs.

I had the same problem for a while. It started suddenly while walking down the street. Dr. sent me to a foot doctor who said my feet were a mess and made me use hard rubber/plastic inserts in my shoes.Tryied to use them as directed but the pain got even worse. Be very careful of the foot Dr's. This one was mainly in it for the insurance money. ZERO relief !!! I have severe low back problems and this was the beginning of a long battle to get some pain relief. If you have had a back injury it could be that. (note the back injury i have is is lower back. L2/3/4). On pain meds for the back pain and the heel pain is gone most of the time.
Fight to find a Dr. who cares. good luck
