is it normal?

Question:
i constantly have slight and sharp pains on my chest. i dont know if it is because i sit (straight) most of the time, due to the nature of my job, or what do you think

Answers:
It depends on your age and sex. If you are a healthy woman non smoker and in your reproductive age, then it is very likely that the pain you describe is due to other causes and not your heart.
Possible causes: nerves, tension, pain due to other organs..

If that is normal, well..I believe normality is a matter of frequency, therefore I would say that it is normal, but not for that reason harmless. The right meassure is to try to keep yourself objective and in case of not finding that possible, then go without fears to a good physician, in whom you can trust.
Good luck and take care,

Chest pains are never normal.you need to consult a physician.

no it is not :D It is not normal to have chest pains. If you sit straight, that shouldn't have any effect. If you slouch and then sit straight, it could just be that you are feeling the pains from over-stretching. It could also be signs of mini-heart attacks or something like that so you should see a doctor.

maybe it can happen due to formed gas in your stomach, so, try to fill ur stomach all the time with light foods like chips, biscuits etc. drink lot of water too.

u did not mentioned about the pain in which side, if its in left, then off course consult a physician soon.

Question.where is this pain? In or near your heart or is it a muscle or near your throat or your lungs?

Any other pains or discomforts like your arms or back or stomach?
