What is happening to my stomach?????

Question: sometimes after i eat my stomach swells in pain like all the food is trapped. after about 6 months i figured out that it mostly happens when i eat lettuce, even a tiny amount. what is going on, is it getting trapped, am i not digesting it? has anyone ever had a similar problem?

Geez, I don't know. Are you constipated or something? My guess is that you may need to drink more water to help with digestion. Good luck with that! I hope you feel better!
Ps. I've heard of that kind of things for cabbage, but not lettuce!

I had a problem like this but it was not with lettuce, it was any food in general. I know it sounds like it has nothing to do with it because I didn't think so either, but I went to the Dr. and they gave me some meds for rectal spasms, and it stopped. hope this helps, it is worth a try to aks the Dr. because I know it is extremly uncomfortable.
