I was in the sun and I think I burnt my scalp where my hair was parted. Its tender and doesnt seem to go away as fast as a little sunburn on the more exposed parts of the body? How long should it take to go away?

Rub Lavender oil on the burn a couple of times & again before bed & it will be better by morning without blistering or peeling it's great for burns of all kinds, good luck.

It usually hurts and feels hot for about 2-3 days, and then depending on how bad it is burnt it could continue to peel for about 3 days afterwards. Sometimes though if you have naturally dark skin, it may not even peel, and just turn into a tan. But, usually the scalp will in fact peel. Its gonna look like you have some seriously nasty danderuff for a few days.
