in the milwaukee area to further education for employment

Answers:
You will need to contact the state registry. They can provide you with a list of training programs in your area. Sometimes the nursing homes will offer free cna training provided that you work for them a set period of time. The contact information for the state registry can be found at www.4cnas.com

Unless you are still in highschool, you probably aren't going to find any free CNA programs.. I could almost guarantee it actually. Even in highschool the training isn't free, its just that the school ends up paying for it. I suggest you go to MATC and get it done there. It will only cost about $200 for the class, and about $100-200 in books and other fees. But it is so worth it to get certified! You will get a much better and higher paying job
Also, many jobs will hire you first and then reimburse you for taking the CNA Course.. you just have to look around for the right care giver position.
