Chigger bits, anyone have home remedies for stoping the itch?

my sister in law swears by a vinegar bath. I use a baking soda paste. If that doesn't help, go to the store and get calamine lotion.

clear fingernail polish
Put you some clear fingernail polish on them and I know it sounds stupid but it actually works. Accent meat tenderizer. Benedryl cream or pills, calamine lotion.
Out of everything I've ever tried, clear fingernail polish really works. Just dab a brushtip full on the bite (or bites). The polish smothers the chigger (or.the stinger.). I promise - This does work! The polish may sting a bit at first when you put it on the bite, but don't worry. You'll be glad you used it.
