What is the best way to wake up in the morning without caffeine?

Question:
I am very sensitive to caffine and have to avoid coffee and tea - so as a result i am tired until about mid-morning when i seem to perk up. I do get a good nights sleep (7-8 Hours) but it seems to feel like i have had 3 or 4 hours. Any ideas or tips?

Answers:
You're feeling of low energy must be due to something other than the amount of sleep you are getting because 7-8 hours is very respectable. If you feel so bad, perhaps there is some underlying problem such as lack of energy from you diet - do you balance you diet properly? Could you be anaemic - excessive periods for example? Do you exercise enough? Is your job too stressful? I don't think you should look at 'perking yourself up', this is basically bump starting the car every morning - ask yourself what you could do to improve your general well being. Allergy test? I'm thinking allergy, wheat intolerance. Hopefully not anaemia, are you depressed? That has an unbelievable affect on your energy levels. Talk to a homoeopath.
A nice shower. Thats what I would suggest.
