Answers:
The monocytes are only a little high. You could just be getting a cold. The MCV and MCH are low and the Hgb and Hct are on the low side. This combined with the microcytosis (cells are small) and hypochromia (cells aren't red enough) means that you probably are on the way to iron deficiency anemia. You don't have it yet but you are leaning in that direction. Continue monitoring the situation. You might discuss with you doctor if he wants you to take an iron supplement.
