Blowtorch
tea tree oil, you can get at most grocery stores or drug stores, walmart has it. Add it to your shampoo and it is cheaper than the small bottle of nix. That way you can be rid of them all the time. Not the entire bottle either it is concentrated. Paul Mitchell make a tea trea shampoo
mayo
use lice shampoo first (store brand is just as good as name brand and CHEAPER)
Depending on how bad it is and who it's on. If you have a little boy, shave his head, wash everything, spray everything, and bag the rest for two weeks. Don't forget backpacks, coats, carpet, couch, buy new brushes, wash hair scrunchies.
If it's a little girl you can use the RID, NIX, or off brand... but mostly that kills live bugs, what about the eggs? Eggs will hatch and then you start all over again. Go to the dollar store, buy a big bottle of cheep hair gel and later your child's hair with it. Leave it on for hours, atleast 3-4. It's going to dry the scalp but it's also going to sufficate (killing) the eggs...
take you child outside in the DIRECT sunlight and start going through the hair. They should come right off... or if you are a really "brave" parent, pull that one hair follicle out that the egg is on.
A Velociraptor !
