Headaches?
Question:
Answers:
I'm like you, I tend to get headaches really easily. Are you doing anyhting in your life that is strenous?
I know you said you wanted to avoid the doctor, but what I did was I went to my normal doctor and we made a journal of my headaches, every time I got a headache I would write down what day, what time and where the headache was located. I also wrote down how bad the pain was, on a scale from 1 to 10, with 1 being no pain to 10 being excruciating pain.
I suggest you do this for a week and than go to your family doctor and see what they say. You may just have chronic headaches. It could be something else more serious but at your age, I doubt it.
Hope everything goes well!
This is going to seem like an off-the-wall answer, but I suffered headaches for most of my life. About two years ago, I had a procedure called Turbinate Somnoplasty. It was actually done to open up my nose - from chronic nasal congestion. To my joy, I have not had one headache since that procedure. I can't explain why this had such a positive effect on my headaches, but it did.
Talk about this when you see your doctor next visit - and yes, you should see a doctor if at all possible at any rate.
Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information
