Is there a spermicide lubicate out on market to use instead of foams and condems.?

Question:
we are married but we dont want any more kids right now. and we are both tired of the pull out method.

Answers:
Yes (or there was the last time I cared -- I had a vasectomy after our third child, so for us "safe sex" means making sure we don't slide off the bed. :-)

I highly recommend that you talk to a doctor about the diaphragm -- it's a LOT less annoying than condoms and about a JILLION times more effective than pulling out.

Anyway, diaphragms are used with a spermicidal jelly, usually containing a chemical called nonoxynol-9. The main substance of this gel is essentially the same water-based stuff that you'd buy as a personal lubricant, and I seem to recall that it comes with an applicator that allows you to easily put in a second dose for use with a diaphragm.

The one warning about nonoxynol-9 is that it tastes terrible... :-)
