It could be nerves... maybe you pulled a muscles.. it depends on what kind of pain, I suggest going to the doctor for a check up.

Other Answers:
go to a doctor
You slept sideway on a very hard surface at that side of your hip
If it's on the lower-right side, it might be your appendix. Go to a doc asap.
Could be a piched nerve. Call your doc and schedual an appointment. If it's unbearable pain, go to your nearest ER. Good luck!
how old are you? it could be growing pains. you may need some more calcium in your diet.
see a M.D.
Well, you probably did run into something, but just don't recall. My guess is it's just a bruise and should resolve in a few days. Take some tylenol, or ibuprofen to help with the pain. A heat or ice pack will help relieve the pain as well.
Appendix? You should go to the doctor. It could be a cyst on your ovaries . You can't MUCK around with your stomach area It might feel like it is somewhere but it could be anywhere below the belt
you may be out of alignment, see a chiropractor
where exactly does it hurt? is it your hip or ur side? Maybe you bruised it, sometimes people bruise themselves without noticing. Your hips are very susceptible to being hurt. I get my hips bruised all the time without noticing it. Good Luck. If it hurts in like a week I would go to the doctor.
it could be lower GI problem or a hernia or if its on the right side it may be appendicitis. try stretching it out and if that causes immense pain go see the er right away. you might have to be a bit more discripive as to the location of the pain. sorry thats all i have.
you probaly were moving arround in your sleep and moved from side to side and probally rubed to hard.
I would go to a chiroprator I have a bad back and the nerve gets pinched and it can hurt badly and then go away like your does they will adjust you and the problem will most likely go away
if its in the lower left abdomin it could be a cyst, ovarian cyst, or a groin pull, a cyst usually will go away on its own, but you should consult a doctor.
It could be the starting of arthritis. It wouldn't hurt to get it checked out. If it gets worse it could cause you to fall and lead to other problems. Good luck, I hope its something that can be relieved soon.
