Aspirin is an anti-inflammatory, however many can't tolerate this because its hard on the stomach....take the acetaminophen (tylenol) or Naproxem sodium (Aleve) which is specifically made for arthritis

it depends upon the cause it is said non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs are the best. When you are comparing the above two drugs Aspirin is better but taken in proper doses & after having meals.
