Sore neck?

Question:
I was jumping on the trampoline. We usually throw up a water bottle and try to catch it. I jumped and caught the bottle. Then I fell on my neck. It hurts when I turn my head to the left. Should I put ice on it?

Go to your family doctor.
Most likely to be nothing, but i wouldnt take a chance with my neck

Yes, and seeing a doctor soon would be a great idea. don't fool around with the neck area after a trampoline accident. My friend karate chopped me in the neck. I had a mushy bump, sore to the touch for a few days. I think it was a lymph node or something popped out between the muscles.

Anyway, back in my sports day the coaches swore by ice. Lot's of it. For hours at a time. It should be painfully cold.

Hey, by the way, how many points did you get for catching that bottle?. I mean you sound like a golden glover! I worked for a spine surgeon. I would suggest going to see your family doctor before you do anything, especially go to a chiropractor. A LOT of chiropractors are not qualified/certified to make a diagnosis about your neck/back. Some aren't even qualified/certified to read x-rays. You put ice on something to reduce swelling and you put heat on a body part to increase blood flow and relaxation. Please go to your doctor.
