I'm one of the earliest recipients of human growth hormone, If taken before puberty HGH will make a person grow. After Puberty the bones seal off and another kind of measure is employed, leg bones are sawed in half and as they heal a special device is moved to keep them from fusing in the same place, the bones are cranked open a little at a time until a set hieght is reached, but this process is slower & more painful.

I've never heard of a way to grow taller. Some would think I did if you looked at my kids. My 11 year old is 5'10" and outgrowing me as I type. It's just genetics.

oh puleeze, there are a ton of ways to grow taller without genetics. i presume a doc has answered u wrong there then.
let me be very clear there is procedure called ILIZAROV'S procedure(u can google if u dont trust me). this is limb lengthening procedure that uses spinlts to lengethen limbs especially for polio victims and fracture cases.
its 100% successful, but people dont prefer it because its extremely painful and usually not necesaary for normal people
i think what finally influences the height are genetics and the environment to some extent.for example children whose diets contain higher amounts of calcium and protein are more likely to grow taller.
the tallest peoplein the world are the dutch whose diet i believe is traditionally rich in dairy products.
the bottomline:- you can't grow tall by wishing for it.
