I have been having persistent nausea (no vomiting) and dizziness after I eat for over 2 weeks?

Question:
I've never had this problem before, so I don't think it's birth control. I have been taking medicine for my face for about a week, but I've been feeling awful longer than I've been taking it. I don't think I'm pregnant, I'm not stressed, depressed or bulimic. Any ideas??

Answers:
STOP THE MEDICINE! Then get yourself a pregnancy test. "I don't think I'm pregnant" is not sure enough to continue on medicine without taking a test first. The tests are cheap, and give quick results; be sure to give yourself the best advantage to accurate results by testing your urine first thing in the a.m.

Then after you know, go back to the medicine for your face.

I know that wasnt part of your question but you would rather, if pregnant, ensure that the medicine would not be cause for any birth defects, to give your child the best chance.

Now to the nausea and dizziness. If you can be checked for stomach problems like an ulcer, or checked for gallbladder problems, it would be a good place to start. Especially the stomach exam for ulcers, a test where you drink something about as thick as a shake and shows the stomach on xrays-they will use xray for this and while it is necessary to diagnose an ulcer, the xrays could also hurt a forming baby.
Are you sleeping well? This could cause your symptoms to a lesser but possible degree if you are not sleeping right.
The combination of nausea and dizziness is also indicated in too much nicotine. Are you smoking, smoking more, or smoking directly after a meal?
Cammomille (sp) tea can help calm a queasy stomach so you can try that also.
Stop the meds, make sure you drink 8 glasses of water-flavor with lemon or other if you have to, make sure you are sleeping well. Cut down on cigarettes if you smoke. (I dont have to say QUIT!, do I?) If you feel worse or not better in your own time frame see a doctor for the problem.
I'm not a doctor, but am answering you with personal experience.

first check the patient info for your birth-control pills and your face meds. you should be able to do this by typing in the name of the medications on the search engine. they should give you a list of side effects. if that doesn't work call your pharmacist and ask. it could also be a blood sugar imbalance (hypoglycemia). there are ways to check this at home, but it is more accurate to have a DR. check it and help you balance it if that is the problem.
you may be having gallbladder attack
Youre expecting.
Dear Monkeyboy!

I have seen your posted question about the trouble you have been encountering and I would like to share my knowledge with you with regards to your problem but my idea is just a recommandation and cannot 100% prove to be right.

There are a lot of reason for people's nausea therefore we need to differentiate the causes of nausea.

My point of view is that nausea after eating which last up to 2 weeks and keeps going on like your may be the sign of intestinal occlusion. This condition is referred to as the blockage of the intestin by the over-constipated faeces therefore the faece cannot pass down and make you feel distented of the abdomen and feel like vomitting; especially, after eating. The dizziness follows this condition as the body wast cannot be removed therefore it make you intoxicated whose sign appears to be dizziness.

If recently you have been constipated, it may the above problem that you encounter and please consult the doctor because intestin occlusion is the condition that needs surgical operation so that you should seek medical attention quickly to see whether you can avoid operation or not.
