What is best for sunburns?

Question:
What is the best thing for sun burns? I used over the counter gels but its not working.

Answers:
Cold/cool bath or shower immediately after getting out of the sun. This takes the heat out of the skin. Heat drys the skin, in turn makes it peel. Take the heat out of the skin, then use plenty of lotion to prevent dryness. Always use plenty of lotion after shower or swimming.

And DO NOT use Noxema for sunburn. It does feel cool, but it drys the skin. And dry skin peels!!!

Other Answers:
its called Noxzema or somethinglike tht you can by it at taget, walmart,
Something with a very high aloe vera content, (a company called lemonoil makes a brilliant gel)this repairs the damage the sun has done whilst taking out the heat thus reducing the pain
Noxzema definately. I go fishing alot and sometimes I get sunburned.
drinks heaps and heaps of water as for your body can only hold a certain amount and hen you will start to swet it out meaning it will cool the sun burn or just put aloe gel on it.
