can i get an eye infection from swimming in my contact lenses?
Question:
Answers:
Yes, I read several websites on it. Its rare, but bacteria can get on your eye from the water and get an eye infection. Apparently the same thing can happen in the shower, and if you don't dry your hands after washing them when you put your lenses in.
I find it difficult to take a shower without my lenses in, though. Can't see a thing, dang it. And I don't go to the pool without my lenses. I really need to keep an "eye" on my kids.
only if you open your eyes. wear goggles. if you get any bleach in your contacts, they will be distroyed. who knows what happened in the pool any way. do not wear your contacts.
