Can 15 to 20 minutes exposure (without mask) to basement mold (near furnace) cause illness/health risk?

Question:
I was working at the basement of an office this summer to clean up a corner of the basement (to put some dry walls). So, had to clean up a specific corner which was enclosed and molded. Didn't wear any masks for the first 15 minutes. Can this cause any harm? Haven't exposed to mold before and the smell was pretty bad. Really curious.

Other Answers:
you may not always see mold but you can smell it it has a musky odor and any contact to it can make you ill you dont have to be that close to it
Mold is toxic so any exposure is not recommended. But a one time encounter like this is not the same as living in a mold infested environment that can have serious health consequences. You will probably be fine.
