Your hand fell asleep. Shake it. The blood pressure was cut off temporarily and now is rushing back into your hand.
Do you have your hand in an ant mound?
Sounds like circulation, but symptoms like yours are often signs of more serious problems. Please consult a doctor, and MAKE them listen to you! Good luck- God Bless.
there could be a few different things that can cause the tingling (ant) feeling. It could be poor circulation or nerve damage, If it happens a lot, you need to see a Dr.
Are you on acid?..
Sounds like Reynaud's Syndrome.
Get a referral to a specialist who can check the blood circulation in your hands.
Sounds like carpal tunnel syndrome. The symptoms of this are tingling of the fingers or palm and also numbness. The thumb, index finger, middle finger and half of the ring finger would be the ones involved. If your little finger is not numb and tingling and your others are, you do have carpal tunnel syndrome. sorry.
It could be Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, if you do repetitive work with your hands. Like typing on a computer a lot!
Could also be a sign of nerve damage by disease (ie. MS) or trauma (ie. working with vibrating hand tools a lot).
