I have a Cold with a chest infection what is the best way?

Question:
to get rid of this because ive started a new job and cant take time off

Answers:
That really depends on your medical history, demographics and statistics, (drug use, body composition and size, male or female, current location and heritage locale), AND whether this is actually a cold virus or a bacterial infection, simply an opportunistic mold allergy/fungus overgrowth or any combination of those. In any case, your immune system is compromised. Here are some things you can do right away, as well as some things you can start a bit later.

First, TRY THINGS AROUND THE HOUSE.
-SPICY FOODS/herbs such as fresh SAGE, OREGANO, GARLIC, CAYENNE, GREEN ONIONS, CILANTRO & JALAPENO'S IN BROTH, HOT PEPPERS, Cardamom, Ginger (in food or in hot water), cloves, CHAI TEA (with soymilk only);
-CURRY is a grrreat temporary remedy!

HERBALS:
-CHAMOMILE TEA is a good anti-inflammatory, and with Peppermint helps start the detox process (headache or stomach ache?) and makes you smile nicer too.
-Hot Water/Lemon/Honey will help with bacteria and clear the alimentary canal for better absorption of nutrients. (Stevia instead of Honey if you are vegan, but then no bacterial help other than system flushing)

If you have access or a friend, FRESH HERBAL TEA of whole chamomile flowers, peppermint leaf, marshmallow root and licorice root with a little slippery elm bark is good. Drink several cups, take it in a thermos to work - yes, you must drink and pee! This is a good tea most of the time, but DO NOT use !! Licorice!! long term or with high blood pressure or any heart condition. Stop if you have bloating.

GARGLE with MYRRH

A quicker herbal fix is in a shot glass with HERBAL TINCTURES - you can mix it with juice, preferably low sugar content like POM or cranberry (not apple/orange/banana).

Herbs to use:
CAUTION: DO NOT MIX HERBS WITH OTHER MEDICINE AND TAKE CARE WHEN MIXING HERBALS!! i.e., meadowsweet should not generally be mixed with skullcap, damiana, kava, hops or other strong mood altering substances.

SHOTS:
-Wild Cherry/Petasites (cough expectorant), Willow Meadowsweet (aspirin), Bayberry Bark (dries phlegm), Usnea (staph/strep/bacteria), Coltsfoot (mild calming, anti-inflammatory, expectorant)

Later:

SHOTS:
-Spilanthes/Usnia (for fungal infection, candida, stuff that slows your system down

-Eyebright/Nettle (for sinusitus, rhinitis, hayfever), Astragalus, Dandelion/Milk Thistle (liver/gall bladder detoxing).
OR
-Red Clover/Stillingia (helps detox a sluggish lymphatic system and metabolism - rids body of metabolic and catabolic wastes)

DROPS: Oil of Oregano (no data for this, just heard about it)

So that is more than enough, ya? E-Me if you want to get more specific, ok?

Other Answers:
Go see a doctor before you end up in the hospital.

really go to a doctor and if you can't during the daytime go to the ER. You could end up with pneumonia if you don't take care of it soon so be careful. You probably need antibiotics and they will help. Hope you feel better soon!

i know this sounds stupid but put loads of garlic in chicken soup and have that. i know you end up smelling of garlic but this always works for me.
p.s. eating celery after garlic is supposed to take away the smell of garlic on your breath, but i couldn't guarantee it.
but go to a medical centre to get the chest infection checked out

take 3 pegs of whisky, 3 pegs of brandy, 1 peg of vodka, and mix them.. leave them overnight,, take 1 liter of beer and mix it with the above mixture.. just drink them straight .. u can have only chicken or lamb with it. then cold is gone. dude please dont drive
